Pitney Bowes MapInfo is infusing its next generation demographics, GroundView™ with MicroBuild® data from The Gadberry Group. The new MicroBuild-powered demographics are based on household level information for maximum precision, and updated on a quarterly basis to ensure that clients have the most up-to-date data on rapidly changing markets.

The Pitney Bowes MapInfo Demographic database for the United States represents a comprehensive set of over 4,000 variables in 15 modules, provided for eleven layers of geography. All demographics in this database are updated annually to the current year, and most are projected out five years.

For the first time ever, the 2008 offering combines the power of MicroBuild's core household and population statistics with decades of experience and proven methodologies in creating census estimates and projections from Pitney Bowes MapInfo.

Historically, the MapInfo demographic data packages have been distributed through Pitney Bowes MapInfo software such as TargetPro® or AnySite® which provides users with an automated reporting and analytical environment, including online web services. The MicroBuild CD product makes this data now available as stand-alone data sets for use in other software packages.
